Want to hang out with energized young and budding community activists? Eager to swap stories about challenges and opportunites in South Asian organizing? Come, join us for the OY community mixer! It will be a fun, informal setting where you will get to interact with the participants of OY Summer 2004. There will be games, icebreakers, and lots of other fun things... and yes, most importantly - free food. Come, lets celebrate the diversity and richness of South Asian organizing in the Bay Area. This community mixer is being organized as a part of OY! Summer 2004 . Organizing Youth (OY!) is a volunteer-based organization formed with the aim of empowering youth from the South Asian Diaspora to organize for political, social and economic justice. |
